As a mission-driven community, we believe education should be meaningful, inclusive, and connected to life beyond the classroom. We welcome students from diverse backgrounds and work to make our program accessible to all families.

We’re currently enrolling students ages 10-18 (approximately 5th grade and up) for the 2026–2027 school year — and we still have limited openings for this year!

What to Expect

Parents and children can experience the Chance Academy difference — watching our teachers and students in action, exploring student work up close, and discovering what makes our approach to learning truly unique.

Visiting Day Details:

Sign up for 30-minute slots from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday, November 10 to 14, 2025*
Location: 2112 Varnum St. NE, Washington, DC 20018
Free street parking on Varnum Street or in the parking lot at the back of the building off of Eastern Avenue.
Enter through the double set of blue doors off of Varnum Street.

(*Classes are not in session on November 11, Veteran’s Day, but teachers and administrators will be available for visits by families.)
